| Welcome to the University of South Alabama's School of Computer and Information Sciences home on the web. We provide a stimulating curriculum which includes a variety of courses for students in many disciplines, as well as for citizens in the business and industrial community.
At the undergraduate level, our school offers three degrees: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. At the graduate level, we offer a Masters of Science in Computer and Information Sciences with specializations in Computer Science and Information Systems.

State of the Art Shelby Hall

14 September 2009 marks the beginning of a new day for the "School of Computer Science & Information Sciences” and the "College of “Engineering”. Gold shovels broke ground launching construction of a new 155,000 square foot state of the art building that will house the 2 schools.
Taking part in the ceremony were Sen. Richard Shelby and his wife whom the building is named after, Rep. Jo Bonner, Mr. Moulton, Dr. Yasinsac, and Dr. Steadman. The building is expected to be completed by September 2011.
